In recognition of the deep history and culture of this island, I wish to acknowledge the Lutruwita people as traditional custodians of the land on which I learn, live, and work. I pay my respect to the history and culture of this land, and to Elders past, present, and emerging.
We are looking forward to celebrating NAIDOC week next acknowledging this year’s theme – For Our Elders.

What a fantastic term of learning we have had at UPS! It has been fabulous to see the work that our students have been doing as I walk around each classroom. Our Three-Way Conversations have been a great way for you, your child and their teacher to celebrate the progress that has been made and to share their work.
I would like to take this opportunity to say good luck to Ms Jemma Dobson who had her last day with us last Friday to go on maternity leave. We wish her all the best on the birth of her first baby.
At UPS we are proud of our students and the way they present themselves each day ready to learn demonstrating our values in the way they conduct themselves while at school. Our value of Creating a Special Place means that we are all conscious of the way we represent ourselves and our connection to our school. Wearing our school uniform reinforces the pride we have in ourselves and our school and the strong connection we have with our community. Thank you to those parents/carers who assist us with ensuring that your child is wearing their uniform each day.
